Protection Driver Program
The Basic Protection Driver Program consists of three days of intensive, hands-on emergency driving training. During the three day program participants will understand the physical forces placed on a vehicle when it is in motion; the automobile and maintenance for its major components; and security concepts as they relate to protective vehicle operations with an emphasis on preoperational planning and operational considerations for drive-time emergencies. The certification for the Basic Protection Driver Program is good for two years, after which a recertification is required in order to keep your certification and keep your skills sharp. Executive Awareness Program
The Executive Awareness Program consists of one day (6-8 hours) of intensive, hands-on emergency driving training. During the program, participants will understand the physical forces placed on a vehicle when it is in motion; the automobile and maintenance for its major components; and security concepts as they relate to vehicle operations with an emphasis on pre-attack surveillance detection and route planning. Instructor Development Program
The Instructor Development Program consists of five days of intensive training. The first day is dedicated to classroom theory sessions designed to indoctrinate the instructor candidate into Crossroads Training Academy’s unique methodologies for training protection and pursuit drivers. During the second day, participants will practice designing seven basic driving exercises and determining a vehicle’s deceleration and lateral acceleration capabilities. Prerequisites: Applicants must be active law enforcement or military EVOC instructors. Applicants from private organizations will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
SUV Emergency Vehicle Operations And Anti-Rollover Program
The SUV Emergency Vehicle Operations program consists of three days of intensive, hands-on emergency driving training. During the three day program participants will understand the physical forces placed on an SUV when it is in motion and how those forces can cause an untripped rollover; the automobile and maintenance for its major components; and security concepts as they relate to protective vehicle operations with an emphasis on preoperational planning and operational considerations for drive-time emergencies.
